NEWSPAPER ADVERTISING REFUND POLICY

Guarantee

The For Sale By Owner Shoppe is committed to your satisfaction.  We will never knowingly misclassify or mistype your advertisement, however, human error does occur. Below you will find the advertising guarantee and refund policy.  Please refer to this should you have any questions regarding your ad.

 

To Place a Newspaper Ad

1.        Customers may place newspaper ads on-line through HomeAvenue.com or by calling in, faxing or dropping off one of the For Sale By Owner Shoppe’s/HomeAvenue's newspaper order forms. 

a.       Any requests for newspaper ads not placed on-line or not requested on an official For Sale By Owner Shoppe/HomeAvenue form will be accepted but will forfeit any guarantee outlined below.  This includes ads called in.

Liner Ads

1.        The For Sale By Owner Shoppe/HomeAvenue.com will consider an ad correct if the following critical information

         is printed correctly:

a.        Address

b.        Telephone Number

c.        Price

d.        Open House Information

e.        Number of bedrooms/bathrooms

 

2.        If any of the above information is printed other than how the customer placed it on our form, we will do one of the following:

a.        Rerun a liner ad (with corrections made) the following week*

b.        Refund the cost of the ad

*If the customer would like to rerun the ad, we must have the new form to us no later than 9 :00am Wednesday morning so we can get a proof back from the paper in time for the deadline.            

Picture Ads-Billed

1.        The For Sale By Owner Shoppe/HomeAvenue will consider an ad correct if the following critical information

         is printed correctly:

a.        Address

b.        Telephone Number

c.        Price

d.        Open House Information

e.        Number of bedrooms/bathrooms

 

2.  If any of the above information is printed other than how the customer placed it on our form, we will do one of the following:

a.        Rerun a picture ad (with corrections made) the following week*

b.        Provide a free three (3) line ad in Sunday’s paper**

c.        Refund the cost of the ad

*If the customer would like to rerun the ad, we must have the new form to us no later than 9 :00am Monday morning so we can get a proof back from the paper in time for the deadline.

**If the customer would like to run a free three (3) line ad in Sunday’s paper, we must have the form to us by Wednesday at 4:00pm.
